Hello. As a Grandmother who is new to the world of Autism, it occurs to me that there are others out there in my shoes. Most of my spare time these days is spent on all things autism, from research to baking gluten free/casein free meals to attending classes and seminars. Since it is difficult to keep everything organized, I started this bulletin board as a method of organization. It is not my intent to endorse anything represented here, just to shre and consider. It is my hope that others will be willing to share their research and experiences. Without a doubt, we all share a desire for information!
My Grandson is four years old. He was diagnosed at 18 months but our journey really started at about six months of age. His mom, my daughter, is currently looking for a DAN (Defeat Autism Now) doctor in our area. Our little guy is already on the gf/cf diet that the DAN doctors prescribe and we are hoping the new doc will work with us going forward. So, we are still on the beginning steps into our sojourn.
