Who we are: Liaisons are all parents of students who are (or have been) enrolled in exceptional student education programs in Hillsborough County. Their role is to guide and empower parents to become collaborative, effective supporters for their children with special needs by providing technical information and support.

About FDLRS
Florida Diagnostic & Learning Resources System provides diagnostic and instructional support services to district exceptional student education programs statewide. Throughout Florida there are 19 FDLRS Associate Centers, serving one to nine districts each, and 4 Specialized Centers that serve the entire State of Florida.
FDLRS collaborates with districts, agencies, communities and other personnel and educational entities providing education and support for students with exceptionalities.
FDLRS activities are grouped into four primary areas:

• Human Resource Development (HRD)
• Parent Services
• Technology
About FDLRS/Hillsborough
FDLRS/Hillsborough services the Hillsborough County Public Schools and provides diagnostic and instructional support services to district personnel serving students with disabilities and families of students with disabilities and those who are at risk of disability.

FDLRS/HRD
coordinates statewide/regional FDLRS activities and provides information, professional development, technical assistance/consultation and resources for individuals working with children and youth who are exceptional and/or have unique needs.
FDLRS/TECH
provides teacher preparation in the effective integration of technology into instructional programs.
FIMC-VI
provides specialized instructional materials for students with visual disabilities.
RMTC-D/HH
instructional materials for students with hearing disabilities.
